Next Week!

Went to the my weekly check up this morning.  Everything is still looking great. We are ready to go anytime, so they scheduled me to be induced this Tuesday the 14th!! I will get to hold Caeden next week, can't wait! Keep me, Brian, and especially Caeden in your prayers!

Update - 38 Weeks

Went to my weekly doctors appointment yesterday.  Everything is still looking good.  I am 2 cm dilated and my cervix is thinned out.  Just a couple of more weeks to go!  I am feeling good, just tired, excited, and a little anxious.  We have everything ready ... except ... we haven't installed the car seats yet.  Definitely should do that soon! Just waiting now.  Can't wait until how little boy is here!!

I had another Doctor's appointment this morning.  Just a measure and listen today.  Everything is looking great and she said I am ready to go anytime! I have everything ready.  I chose a Pediatrician and I meet with him this week.  We have a surgeon for Caeden's lip (still praying that God will heal him!).  I have it set up to donate the cord blood. Everything at home is ready.  Just gotta go buy a diaper pale today (I forgot about that!).  Now we are just waiting on Caeden =) I go back to the doctor every week until delivery.  Can't wait to meet our little boy! 

36 Weeks Checkup

Everything is looking good! Baby's heart beat is a strong 135 and I am measuring good.  Doctor is pleased with Caeden's growth and my weight gain.  I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Caeden is head first.  We are all ready!

Baby Shower

Baby shower was lots of fun! Thanks to everyone who came out. We received a lot of nice gifts and a lot of things we needed! I love the travel bed, portable rocker, diaper bag, and all the cute outfits! Not to mention, the much needed diapers. I have everything organized and ready to go. Just a few more items to purchase and we will be all ready!

Measure and Listen - Week 30

I had a Doctors appointment today at 10am. I saw Dr. Henley today. I really like him, he is a great Dr! My blood pressure was 106 over 60. Caeden's heart beat was 150. Which is great! I measured at 28 cm, which is a little small for 30 weeks. He said it is nothing to be concerned with for right now, they are just going to keep an eye on me and make sure I measure bigger at my next visit. I go back in two weeks. It's not too much longer now! Only around ten more weeks. I went to an infant feeding class yesterday. I learned different holds and that it is good to feed your baby every 2 to 3 hours. They recommended keeping them on a schedule is best for your body and baby.

Prayer Request for Caeden:

My 19 weeks anatomy ultra sound showed that Caeden has a very small cleft lip. We do not if it is a cleft lip or cleft palate. We are praying that God will heal Caeden's lip! We know that God knows all about Caeden's development and we are trusting Him to take care of him. I have done some research on cleft teams and surgeons in our area. I have also researched how to care for a baby with cleft lip or palate. Feeding can sometimes be an issue. I watched a video on how to feed your baby with cleft lip or palate. But, I still have faith that God will heal him!
